Buying non-maternity styles

With now being in to week 24 of this pregnancy and only having 3 more months to go (!) I’m looking to find Autumn styles that are not necessarily maternity so that I can continue to wear them after baby arrives, so this last weekend I went shopping in Abercrombie & Fitch to find some styles that work for now and later on.

I tend to gravitate towards more fitted figure hugging tops whilst pregnant as I like to have the bump on display rather than trying to cover it up. I found all of these tops to have that stretch in the fabric that we need during these last 2 trimesters and I know will also work after pregnancy. I usually buy in the size I was pre-pregnancy but with some tops it is necessary to go up a size but know that it will still just have that slight “over sized” look later on. The sweaters featured in the last 2 pictures are probably going to fit better in larger sizes though rather than my usual size.

The dress featured above is in a small size which would be my usual size but has enough stretch that it works for now too. I tend to go for knee length dresses whilst pregnant so I know that they wont get shorter as the bump gets bigger! 🙂

A&F are currently offering 30% off purchases of $75 or more for a limited time with free shipping, use CODE: 11048

  1. I love all these options especially the midi dress and the sweaters! They’re all super cute. I do this too. Especially with tanks and tees- they make perfect pjs after even if they’re a little roomy! I love everything you chose. Pink Blush also has a lot of styles that work for pregnancy and beyond!
